The Worship Ministry is headed by Sis. Margot Dinglasa. To date, we have 11 organizations under this ministry. Each one contributes and animates the different liturgical celebrations in the parish.
The ministries and organizations under the Worship Ministry are as follows:
LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
Ministry of Altar Servers
The Ministry of Altar Servers is composed of boys and young men dedicated to the service of the Sacred Liturgy, most especially the Holy Mass. They undergo a formation program in preparation for this ministry, and once accepted as regular members, they undergo a series of enrichment programs and are formed to become model Christians. This ministry is headed by Bro. Dexter Ilan.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned to assist the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass and outside Mass for those who are home bound. They are formed to have this special kind of devotion to the Holy Eucharist. The ministry is headed by Bro. Emman Caccam.
Lectors and Commentators Ministry
The Lectors and Commentators Ministry are formed to become proclaimers of God's Word during liturgical services in the parish. The ministry is headed by Sis. Fe Dy.
Mother Butler Guild
The Mother Butler Guild takes care of the liturgical vessels, vestments and other objects used in the liturgy. They prepare the altar for the celebration of the Mass with motherly care and with their talent in flower decorations . The ministry is headed by Sis. Ophie Balazuela.
Ministry of Ushers and Collectors
Once you step inside the church, their welcoming smile greets you. They are also responsible for collecting your offerings during Mass. The ministry is headed by Sis. Beth Alday.
Music Ministry
Composed of the different choir groups serving the parish, the Music Ministry animates the celebration of the liturgy with their songs and music. The ministry is headed by Sis. Aisa Villa.
DEVOTION MINISTRIES AND ORGANIZATIONS
Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament
They take care of the Adoration Chapel and take turns in keeping vigil in front of the Blessed Sacrament whenever the Adoration Chapel is open. The Adorers are led by Sis. Raquel Javellana.
Apostolado ng Panalangin
Also known as the Apostleship of Prayer, they are considered as the prayer warriors of the church. They lead the faithful in prayer most especially during the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every First Friday, Corpus Christi and Christ the King.
Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, serve the Church and their neighbor on a voluntary basis. They scout for possible converts and those who need to be married in the Church. They also lead the faithful in the devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Divine Mercy Apostolate
The Divine Mercy Apostolate promotes the devotion to the Divine Mercy, with the primary focus on the merciful love of God and the desire to let that love and mercy flow through one's own heart towards those in need of it. This is headed by Sis. Milagros Esteves.
Samahan ng Mahal na Araw
This is the official association of owners and caretakers of sacred images that join the procession during Holy Week. The association is led by Sis. Agnes Obedoza.
